The FINAL New Urban Fantasy Releases for 2020

Two thrilling new urban fantasy releases for the week of October 26!

It’s Halloween week! This is normally my most favorite week of the year. But with Covid, and the snow outside it’s not quite as exciting. I couldn’t even get the energy to put up minimal decorations this year. Maybe I’ll get the wreath on the door today before I go scoop snow.

I’m also a little late sending this out today because of the snow. We’ll just insert something vague about getting older, aches and pains, body being a barometer. if you don’t understand yet, you will one day.

Come join Tessa in Junction City and stay a while! Check out this urban fantasy novella!

Mysterious runes are appearing all over town, coinciding with Nethersheen monster attacks — incidentally, just when Tessa’s bestie, Daemon is nowhere to be found.

Being a full-blood demon, the guy just might be responsible for painting these runes…

And as the city’s supernatural monster hunter, it’s Tessa’s job to catch these monsters. Great!

A new part in the episodic, CLAW & WARDER, releases October 2

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times.

It was the age of Starbucks, it was the age of phone apps. It was the season of the supernatural, it was the season of the mundane. It was the winter of coffee, it was the spring of more coffee…a lot more coffee. It was the epoch of jewelry store robbing reptiles, it was the epoch of early parole.

After eighteen years in a Locus of Baltimore dungeon, Dr. Agon is released to the care of his daughter in the Locus of New York. Following a spate of robberies, Dru and Leery spend the night together…

A new urban fantasy series just released. Check out book 1 – Ashes on the Earth!

Shapeshifters exist. Monsters are real. And no good deed goes unpunished.

Nursing student Ellie St. James didn’t mean to get involved in a war between rival gangs of shifters, but saving the life of a local mob boss’s child has dragged her into one. When Ellie’s life is threatened because of her involvement, she’s forced to go on the run, protected by Carter Ballis, head of security for the mobster’s family, and a lethal shifter himself.

Cordelia’s finally escaped living under the shadow of her past. Making a name for herself at her sorority and starting a new life, her only desire. Until she meets Flynt. With him comes a life-shattering secret. She’s a witch.

Destined to fight an evil God, she has to battle what she never wanted to face again, her past. She thought she found refuge with Flynt, but he has his own battles to fight. He’s not allowed to be with a mage. Shifter rules. His entire family works against them. Love may not be enough.

The FINAL New Urban Fantasy Releases for 2020

Four Great New Urban Fantasy Releases for the Week of August 31, 2020!

Can you believe the end of the month is already here?

I turned 40 at the beginning of the month – August 1 to be precise – and I can’t believe the month has flown past me. Some of that has been because I’ve been hard at work setting up this website. And i have to say I’ve enjoyed every minute of it.

We’ll be posting author interviews this week. Be sure to check the website for them after 9 a.m. CST on Monday, Wednesday and maybe Friday this week. I will post links to the ones that come out this week in next Monday’s email!

Meet Alex Croft, a grave witch that can talk to the dead!

Meet Alex Croft, a grave witch that can talk to the dead!

I have a bad tendency to pick up books without paying attention to whether or not it’s a part of the series or not. I was delighted to discover that I had picked up the first in the Alex Croft series in Grave Witch.

Written in the first-person perspective, Grave Witch introduces us to the main character, Alex Craft, a private investigator, owner of Tongues for the Dead, and consultant for Nekros City Police Department.  Alex can raise shades of the dead to answer questions for her clients, including the police and attorneys.
